The boilers and pumps have been installed and the sacristy radiators and
pipework is now being installed. It is hoped that the gas connection will
be installed at the begining of November meaning that the system will
be able to be fired up soon after! This is not to say that the fundraising
is over - theres still a way to go. Clich

The work has begun! The St George's Chapel is now boarded
up as the workshop and the Church is full of dust! Campus Construction
started onsight a week ago, and thus far, the boilers and the associated
pipe work has been installed. The victoian grates have been cleared of
the original cast iron pipe work, 150 years of dust sweepings down them,
and a disturbing ammount of decayed Rats ( probably dating back to the
1870's!) Work within to install radiators and the grills below floor level
is still yet to begin. Watch this space for more updates!

A group of young people and leaders went to the Shrine
of Our Lady of Walsingham in August. The weather, if not brilliant was
a lot better than the year before (no flooded tents!) The annual Christ
the Saviour coach to the pilgrimage for healing and reconciliation also
took place on August bankholiday. A good time was had by all, except for
the heavy traffic!

The Church was broken into at the end of May. Thankfully
only slight damage was done. Several other churches have been broken into
in Ealing in similar fashion and the Police are confident of a result.
Sadly we have serveral broken windows which will be repaired in due course
